Virat Kohli, the current India National Team captain as well as the captain of Royal Challengers Bangalore team was born on 5th November 1988 to a Punjabi family in Delhi. Virat Kohli has 2 elder siblings, his father Prem Kohli worked as a criminal lawyer and his mother Saroj Kohli was a housewife. At a very young age, by 3 Virat Kohli started swinging his bat and constantly requested his father to bowl at him. Virat was just 9 when the West Delhi Cricked Academy was launched in 1998 and he was one of the very first cricket players admitted to the Academy. He soon moved his practices at the Saviour Convent located in the Paschim Vihar. Throughout his childhood, his father was his biggest support system and stood firmly for his dreams.
